About Us
9miles Media was founded by two entrepreneurial teens in Raleigh, North Carolina in October 2008. Our entire organization is based on giving already-talented teens the opportunity to foster their creative skill-set and learn important life & business lessons along the way.
It is upon these principles that the group has grown to include nine members, age 13-16, from around the world with a very unique range of creative skills. We’ve had an amazing journey coming to where we are today, and now feel confident that we can provide you a professional and competitive solution in a timely manner.

When GlassPilot.com decided to branch into the mobile iPhone market, they came to 9miles for a professional PHP/MySQL solution to display their homepage differently to iPhone users. This made the site not only more accessible, but also faster for mobile users.

GlassPilot.com is intended to help pilots and aspiring pilots be exposed and educated to the value, potential, safety, and comfort these advancements bring while providing access to the evolving tools, training options and support available to help them enjoy the full advantages of flying “glass”. They needed an advanced PHP/MySQL framework in which to communicate effectively and came to 9miles for a professional solution.
